Hands is a design-led lifestyle store based in Paddington and Newtown, offering a curated selection of gifts, homewares, and accessories from independent makers and brands. We value creativity, attention to detail, and thoughtful customer service.

We're now seeking a Marketing & Content Creation Assistant (Casual/part-time) to support our marketing lead. This role is based in Paddington. The responsibilities include:

• Curating and creating social media content to build engagement, brand presence, and product awareness
• Shooting photo and video content, including in-store, product, and lifestyle content
• Developing and coordinating content strategies, ideas and campaigns aligned with marketing objectives
• Coordinating and delivering collaborations with content creators
• Assisting with the development and upkeep of brand assets and marketing collateral

Requirements:

• Previous experience in marketing
• Strong photo and video content creation skills; comfortable using your own camera or phone
• Comfortable appearing on camera as part of brand-led content
• Experience with Facebook / Meta ads
• Strong understanding of engagement, growth, and content performance
• Working knowledge of Adobe and video editing tools (Premiere, Photoshop, CapCut or similar)
• A strong eye for design and good taste
