These handmade dishes are individually made by craftsmen in Japan and carefully hand-painted using copperplate transfer techniques. Because of the nature of the glaze, there may be small cracks (nuki), surface irregularities, and small holes on the glaze surface. As these are handmade, there may also be individual differences in glaze colouration, size, shape and pattern.
